Hi, I'm Noorulain Pandor - but most people call me Noori. I'm a qualified speech-language therapist and audiologist with over 20 years of experience helping children communicate with confidence and joy.
I've had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, from hospitals and schools to private clinics and universities, but my true passion is in working with school-aged children who are struggling with learning, reading, writing, or attention. My approach is warm, personalised, and rooted in the belief that every child has the potential to thrive when given the right support.
In my therapy space, children are seen, heard, and celebrated. I use evidence-based techniques (like the RAVE-O reading program) combined with creativity, compassion, and a deep understanding of each child's unique needs. Whether it's helping your child find their first words, improve their reading skills, or feel more confident in the classroom, l'm here to walk the journey with you — step by step. I believe in working closely with families because you know your child best — and together, we can build skills that last a lifetime.
When I'm not in the therapy room, you'll find me hiking on local trails, baking (especially cookies!), or trying to keep up with my teenagers' busy lives. Being a mom has shaped the way I work - with empathy, flexibility, and a deep respect for each family's journey.
If you are looking for a therapist who understands both the science and the heart behind helping kids grow, I'd love to meet you and your child and explore how we can build their communication skills together — in a way that feels safe, supportive, and full of possibility.
My therapy approach is guided by the understanding that communication challenges often have many layers—language, attention, memory, emotional regulation, and more. I take time to identify the root of each child’s difficulty, rather than just addressing the surface symptoms. Therapy is purposeful, yet flexible; I adapt sessions in real time based on how a child is responding, always working towards functional goals that support learning and everyday communication.
I use a combination of structured methods and play-based techniques to keep children engaged while building core skills. I incorporate strategies from language therapy, executive functioning support, and literacy frameworks such as RAVE-O. Just as importantly, I work in partnership with families and teachers—sharing tools, insights, and support that can be used outside of sessions. My role is not just to treat, but to empower: to help children discover their voice and confidence, and to help families feel equipped on the journey.
